Eligiblity Criteria
Employment Registration | The candidate must be registered with an Employment Office in Uttarakhand by the application deadline. |
Domicile Certificate | Must hold a domicile/residence certificate of Uttarakhand. |
Education in Uttarakhand | High school and intermediate education (or equivalent) must have been completed in recognized institutions within Uttarakhand. |
Exemptions for Employees | Employees of state or central government in regular positions within Uttarakhand (or spouses/children thereof) are eligible even if living outside Uttarakhand. |
Special Cases for Former Soldiers | Former soldiers registered with the district office for welfare and rehabilitation in Uttarakhand are exempt from the requirement for employment registration. |

Selection Process
Step | Description |

Written Examination | A 2-hour objective-type competitive examination of 100 marks will be conducted, either offline or online. The syllabus will be based on the educational qualifications required for the post. A penalty of 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer. |
Answer Sheet Handling | For offline exams, candidates can retain the question booklet. The OMR sheet will be in triplicate: candidates must submit the original and second copies to the invigilator and can retain the third copy. For online exams, details of answers and keys will be provided post-examination. |
Eligibility Criteria | Candidates achieving the minimum qualifying marks (45% for General/OBC, 35% for SC/ST) will be considered eligible for further processes. |
Tiebreaker Criteria | In case of equal marks, candidates will be ranked based on age (older candidates ranked higher). If age is also equal, preference will be given alphabetically by English name order. |
Final Merit List | The final merit list will be published on the Commission's website. The list will be based on marks obtained in the written examination. |

Faq's
