---|---|
Shortlisting for Personal Interview | Candidates will be shortlisted based on merit drawn from valid GATE 2023, GATE 2024, and GATE 2025 scores using a ratio of 1:12. Candidates with the same cut-off marks will all be shortlisted. |
Eligibility for Recruitment | Only candidates with valid GATE 2023, GATE 2024, or GATE 2025 scores are eligible; earlier GATE scores are not valid. |
Weightage for GATE Scores | GATE 2023, GATE 2024, and GATE 2025 scores will be given equal weightage. |
Shortlisting PwBD Candidates | 'Persons with Benchmark Disabilities' (PwBDs) will be shortlisted separately by applying a 1:12 ratio for each category of disability. |
Cut-off List and Interview Intimation | Discipline and category-wise cut-off lists will be published on the NPCIL recruitment web portal. Interview details will be shared via Email/SMS. |
Final Selection | Final selection is based on performance in the Personal Interview, subject to medical fitness. No weightage is given to GATE scores in the final selection. |
Qualifying Marks for Interview | Unreserved: 70%; EWS, SC, ST, OBC (NCL), and PwBD: 60%. |
Merit List Preparation | Separate merit lists based on interview marks will be prepared for each PwBD category, and selection will follow the order of merit. |
Tie-breaking Principle | If interview marks are tied, higher GATE scores are prioritized. If both interview marks and GATE scores are tied, older candidates are ranked higher. |
Waitlist Preparation | Waitlists are prepared discipline and category-wise, limited to the number of candidates in the main list, and are valid till 20th September, 2025. |
