Selection Process

Step 1: Shortlisting of Applications	Applications are shortlisted based on the cutoff percentage set for each engineering stream. Final-year students must meet the cutoff up to the 6th semester.
Step 2: SSB Interview	Shortlisted candidates are called for SSB interviews at one of the following centers: Prayagraj (UP) Bhopal (MP) Bengaluru (Karnataka) Jalandhar (Punjab) The interview follows a two-stage process: Stage 1: Screening Stage 2: Psychological Tests, Group Testing, and Personal Interview
Step 3: Medical Examination	Candidates who clear the SSB interview undergo a medical examination to ensure they meet the required physical and medical standards.
Step 4: Final Merit List	The final merit list is prepared based on SSB interview performance. In case of a tie, preference is given based on: Age (older candidates ranked higher) Degree percentage
Step 5: Training & Commission	Selected candidates receive joining letters for training at Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun. Upon successful completion, they are granted Permanent Commission in the Indian Army.
