Faq's
The portal was reopened following the **Hon'ble Punjab and Haryana High Court's direction (dated
13.12.2023)** in CWP No. 13816 of 2020. Now, only candidates **meeting NCTE-prescribed qualifications**
can participate in the selection process.
Candidates must meet **NCTE-prescribed qualifications**, including:
- Post Graduate degree with at least 50% marks and B.Ed..
- Post Graduate degree with at least 45% marks with B.Ed. under **NCTE Regulations 2002 & 2007**.
- Post Graduation with 55% marks and **three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.**.
- Candidates without B.Ed. qualification **will also be considered**.
SC candidates **must update their application** to specify their category as **DSC or OSC**. They need to
submit a **new DSC/OSC certificate**, issued under **Notification No. 22/163/2024-5HR-III dated
13.11.2024**.
Candidates must submit **new certificates** issued between **01.04.2025 and the closing date** of the
corrigendum:
- BC-A & BC-B certificates **as per Government Notification No.40/13/2024-1SW dated 16.07.2024**.
- EWS certificates **valid for FY 2025-2026** under **Government Instruction No. 22/12/2019-1GS-III dated 25.02.2019**.
Yes, candidates who **entered incorrect category or qualification details** must **cancel their old
application** and submit a **new one**, paying the fee again.
**Previously paid fees will not be adjusted against new applications.**
ESM candidates must upload their **ID card issued by Zila Sainik Board**, including:
- **ESM ID Card Number**
- **Date of Issue**
- **Date of Discharge from service**
- **Serial No. of eligibility register**
- **Date of issue & renewal details**
