Selection Process

Stage Description
Stage 1: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
  • Conducted in multiple cities: Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, New Delhi, Kolkata.
  • Duration: 120 minutes.
Stage 2: Shortlisting for Interview/Trade Test
  • Candidates shortlisted in 1:4 ratio based on CBT performance.
  • If multiple candidates score the same marks, higher qualification marks are considered.
Stage 3: Personal Interview (GET) / Trade Test (Technician)
  • GET candidates attend a Personal Interview.
  • Technician candidates undergo a Trade Test.
  • Conducted at Hyderabad.
  • Participation only after successful Document Verification.
Stage 4: Final Selection & Merit List
  • Weightage: 85% CBT + 15% Interview/Trade Test.
  • Minimum qualifying marks: 50% per stage and 60% overall.

  • Eligible candidates, including internal employees, must apply online through the ECIL website: www.ecil.co.in > Careers > Current Job Openings.
  • Online application process will be open from 16/05/2025 (14:00 hrs.) to 05/06/2025 (14:00 hrs.).
  • Upon successful submission, candidates will receive a system-generated application number, which must be retained for future reference.
  • Candidates should print the registered online application form, which will be available until the last date of registration.
  • The printed application form must be signed and affixed with a recent color passport-size photograph (4x3 cm, blue background).
  • Self-attested copies of date of birth, educational qualifications, experience, caste, and disability certificates (if applicable) must be provided at the time of document verification before the interview/trade test.
