Selection Process

Stage	Details
Stage 1: Computer-Based Test (CBT)	Objective-type written examination. Number of Questions: 100 (Multiple Choice). Exam Duration: 2 hours. Total Marks: 100. Exam Languages: Hindi & English.
Stage 2: Work Experience Evaluation	Candidates who clear the CBT are awarded extra points for relevant work experience. Experience Weightage: 5 marks per year for contractual nursing experience in government/non-private institutions. Maximum allowed: 25 marks. Fractional experience is calculated proportionally. Experience documentation must follow Appendix-I format and be certified by the respective department head.
Stage 3: Merit List Preparation	Final selection is based on CBT scores + Work Experience marks. Total Score Calculation: 75 Marks (CBT) + 25 Marks (Experience) = 100 Marks. Minimum qualifying marks based on category: General: 40% OBC: 36.5% EBC: 34% SC/ST/PwD/Women: 32% Failure to meet the qualifying marks results in automatic disqualification.
