Faq's
Candidates must have either a 10th Pass + 3 years approved regular Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile/Fire,
or 12th Pass (Regular Study). A valid Heavy, Medium, or Light Vehicle Driving License is also required.
The age range is 18 to 30 years as of 01/11/2024. Relaxations are provided: OBC (3 years), SC/ST (5
years), Widows/divorced women (up to 35-40 years), and Ex-Agniveers (3-5 years).
The process includes:
- Written Exam (CBT)
- Document Verification & Medical Examination
- Driving Test
- Physical Endurance Test (PET)
- Final Merit List based on CBT marks
- Basic Training Course (BTC) of 18 weeks
Men: Height (167 cm), Chest (81 cm with 5 cm expansion), Weight (55 kg).
Women: Height (157 cm), Weight (45 kg).
Vision: 6/6 distance vision, normal color vision, no night blindness.
Apply online at the Airports Authority of India website (www.aai.aero), fill the
application, upload required documents, and pay the fee (₹1,000 for UR/OBC/EWS; exempted for
Women/SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen).
Candidates will receive a stipend of ₹25,000 per month during the 18 weeks of Basic Training Course.
